Valve hasn't yet responded to the idea that the Soldier will also be getting a class update at the same time, though it would seem to make sense given the fact that the new mode was introduced and teased by the Soldier. The King of the Hill mode itself is fairly standard - two teams have to battle for control of a single location and whoever is the first to hold it for a total of 18 minutes wins the match and can proclaim themselves King of the Hill.
